Colle Mcvoy

During my rewarding internship at Colle McVoy, I had the fantastic opportunity to collaborate with Schwann's, the epitome of convenience for grocery delivery. Schwann's Home Delivery boasts an impressive repertoire of over 300 top-tier frozen foods available for doorstep delivery, catering to a wide range of culinary needs.

In the pursuit of effectively marketing this exceptional service, I was entrusted with a captivating task – developing and bringing to life an entire storyboard, meticulously crafted with sketches that would narrate the tale of their commercial. Through a dynamic interplay of ideas, I engaged in iterative discussions with both my astute managers and the client, sculpting the storyboard and sketches to perfection. A playful and easy-to-read approach guided me as I worked diligently to ensure that every line and shade adhered seamlessly to Schwann's vibrant colors and brand guidelines. The result was a vibrant and engaging visual narrative that encapsulated the essence of Schwann's Home Delivery, ensuring their message reached the hearts and minds of their audience with a blend of whimsy and clarity.

Act 1: Spa Day

We see a lavish woman just finishing up he face mask routine and looking in the mirror. And her husband in the background wearing boxers + tank putting on shaving cream. The doorbell rings.

She looks over at her husband, wide-eyed and fearful. He mirrors her facial reaction.

Cut to shot of an innocent RSR driver waiting at the door.

Shot of woman frantically looking around the room, grabbing a robe while the man gestures with shaving cream covering his hands and face.

The doorbell rings a second time.

The woman walking out of her bathroom, looking prepared for the day pulls out her phone, confirming her next home delivery. The delivery driver shrugs and walks away.

Act 2: Hidding

Open on a man doing work in the backyard. As his eye wanders, he notices a SHD truck stopped at a neighbors’ house. He smiles, until he realizes it’s leaving! He drops his hedge clippers and takes off for the front yard waving his hands.

He sprints off like a professional runner, but has to stop to mess with the latch on the fence door. After some frantic jiggling, he finally gets through.

Cut to shot of an innocent RSR driver waiting at the door.

He gets to the neighbor’s house just as the truck is rounding the corner.

The doorbell rings a second time.

The neighbor and his young daughter eye the man pitifully as they stand with Schwan’s bags in hand.

He finally pulls out his phone to realize that he can schedule his food delivery on his time, where no sprinting or panting is involved.
